A human approach

Much of street, or for that matter event, photography has become about capturing 'set-piece' shots. These can be very beautiful but can lack depth.

In my photography I aim to capture moments of humanity and connection and to evoke emotion as well as freezing a split-second of time for the record.

This sense of connection draws the viewer into the substance of what was happening at the moment the image was taken - and ideally reflects something of the viewer's own reality back at them.
